They developed annual communications plans as well as individual store opening plans during a high-growth period for the company. They opened 15+ Whole Foods stores/store remodels in Northern California; oversaw all social media; handled crisis, community, and local government relations; media-trained executives and store teams; crafted vendor promotions; worked collaboratively with the ad agency; created/led press events and press conferences and launched new products and led significant initiatives. WFM campaign snapshots: Led WFM 365 product push/value campaign during the gas and real estate crisis to position WFM as a value competitor in the organic/natural CPG category. Led campaigns around multiple sustainability issues including non-GMO, farming, pasture-raised meats and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program.
